Hines Drive will be closed to cars from Ann Arbor Trail to Outer Drive, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm every Saturday morning from May 7 through September 24. Join us as we ride up and down Hines Drive, on the road where cars aren't allowed, and on the bike path. Total distance is about 20 miles, but someone will ride back with anyone who only wants to do about 10 miles total. You can also turn back any time on your own for a shorter ride.
Lots of parking is available at Nankin Mills Recreation Area. (Do NOT confuse this with Nankin Mills Nature Center; if you see a big white building, you're in the wrong place.) There will be a barricade at Hines Drive and Ann Arbor Trail, just west of where Farmington Road ends, but you can drive around the barrier and take the next right turn into Nankin Mills Recreation Area - look for a baseball diamond and a playground. Just use the map link shown above to navigate you to the right place.
Pace - 10-11 mph or whatever pace keeps us together. This is a no-drop ride. Faster riders are welcome to start with us and ride off into the distance on your own.
Hines Drive is hilly. We will take short breaks every half hour or whenever anyone needs to stop.
Our entire route is on paved surfaces, but there are some unpaved trails nearby for anyone who wants to explore them.

Helmets required. Please be sure your bike is in good working condition and your tires are properly inflated. Non-CFAA Members must sign a waiver.
