Presentation: Macroeconomic Lessons of the 2020s

Since early 2020, the U.S. economy has experienced large shocks and significant shifts in economic policy. Kocherlakota will explore the evolution of key U.S. macroeconomic data over this period—and what it reveals about the changing nature of the economy and economic policymaking.

Previously President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and a voting member of the FOMC, Kocherlakota offers unique insights into the decisions that shape national economic policy and markets today. His current research explores how shifts in monetary and fiscal policy affect growth and stability in the U.S. economy.
