About this Event

Join us for a fun Earth Day planting event inaugurating the CFA Color Garden, a native plant project funded by BU's Campus Climate Lab to help incorporate engaging green spaces and plantings along the BU campus. The goal of the garden is to offer a space for students across disciplines to learn more about natural and sustainable materials and practices and create a space for outdoor learning and community.

You are welcome to get your hands dirty or just come by to celebrate the launch of this new flower garden. The garden is just east of the CFA building at 855 Commonwealth (by the parking lot).

This project is led by SVA students, with mentorship from Director Dana Clancy and Assistant Professor E. Tubergen and help from faculty across disciplines, including Professor Nathan Phillips, Earth and Environment.

SVA students:

  • Anthony Venturi, BFA Painting, Junior
  • Lauren Boysa, BFA Painting, Junior
  • Julia Cheung, BFA Graphic Design, Junior
  • Natalie Seitz, BFA Painting, Junior
  • Jaedin Guldenstern, BA in Art, Senior
