About this Event
DMHA is providing an in-person, 40-hour Certified Peer Support Professional. This in-person training will be held at the Indiana Government Center, 402 W Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46204. Whether you're looking to start a career in peer support or enhance your skills, this training is perfect for you. Learn from experienced professionals and gain the knowledge and tools needed to support others effectively.
This 40-hour training will be Wednesday, January 21 through Friday, January 23 AND Wednesday, January 28 through Friday, January 30, 2026. This training runs from 8:00am-4:00pm each day.
The Wednesday, January 21 through Friday, January 23 training will be held in Conference Room 17 and the Wednesday, January 28 through Friday, January 30 training will be held in Conference Room 4/5.
ALL days must be attended to be eligible for the certification. Lunch is on your own.
To qualify for the training individuals must
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have personal lived experience of recovery from a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling and/or
- Have personal lived experience assisting a family member with a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent*
- Must live or work in Indiana at least 51% of the time
