Session 1: Certificate II Pre‑Apprenticeship Showcase

🕒 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm | 17 June

This showcase allows employers to meet students currently undertaking Certificate II pre‑apprenticeship programs, who are preparing to transition into full apprenticeships.

On the day, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Meet motivated pre‑apprentices across key trade areas - Automotive, Engineering, Carpentry & Construction, Electrotechnology & Plumbing
• Speak directly with students about expectations and pathways
• Gain insight into how The Gordon prepares learners for employment
• Tour training facilities and learning spaces

This session is ideal for employers looking to connect early with potential apprentices.

The evening Forum brings together employers, support services and industry partners to engage with job seekers and students interested in apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.

The Forum will include:

• Direct engagement with prospective apprentices and trainees
• Industry and employer exhibitor booths
• Opportunities to promote your organisation and current or future roles
• Informal networking with industry and support partners

Event format:
5:00pm – 6:00pm Expo (food and drinks provided)
6:00pm – 6:30pm Panel
6:30pm – 7:30pm Expo

The event is delivered in collaboration with Skilling the Bay, Workforce Australia Local Jobs, Skills and Jobs Centre, Apprenticeships Victoria and The Gordon.
