This unit will focus on the components of an effective search and rescue operation—sizeup, search, and rescue.About this Event
In this course, you will learn:
- How to size up the situation in which the search and rescue teams will operate, including what resources you will need.
- How to search for disaster survivors.
- Safe techniques for leveraging, cribbing, and survivor removal.
The prerequisites for this course include: CERT Unit 3 and CERT Unit 4: Disaster Medical Operations 1 and 2.
