Ceremony Saturday

Come join partners in life & love, Ashley Ballard & Chris Rust, as they welcome you to their home to host a monthly ceremony gathering where we get back to our roots of gathering around food, fire, and Spirit. Together we aim to bring about a space of sacred safety and community that centers around multicultural ceremonies, education, holistic practices, community pot luck, tons of music, fire-time activities - complete with fire spinning, and having fun through reverence and connection.
*Ashley Ballard, of Sacred Serenity Healer, is a Shamanic Reiki Master, Tarot Reader, Sound Healer, and Herbalist. She uses current astrology and curates the entire gathering and all ceremonies to reflect the present energies. She also adores to be in the kitchen, whether cooking up food for the pot luck, or concocting an herbal remedy from the apothecary. You can usually hear her singing and contagious laughter.
*Chris Rust, of Shanan Flow, is a Fire Circle Facilitator, Healing Touch Practitioner, Oracle Reader, & Sound Healer. He most especially implores everyone to "Be Fearless & Play," and therefore curates Sacred Fire Circles where he will teach you to dance with fire on special props, so you can experience playing with a Sacred Element. He is usually dancing and tending the fire... anything dancing & fire.
~Together, we offer Sacred Ceremonies such as Plant Medicines like Cacao & Hape, Paper Ceremonies, Water & Fire Ceremonies, Andean Despacho Ceremony, and various others.
~Sound speaks deeply to us both and we have joined musical forces to offer a variety of sound journeys, including our Sacred Flame Sound Bath, with Fire Spinning. Drumming, singing, sound baths, ecstatic dances, song circles, are rotated in offerings.
~Sobriety is a topic that hits home for us both, as we are both in recovery, and offer services, circles, and gatherings that support those in addiction or recovery. We ask that you please remain sober during our events. This is cannabis friendly only, which is legal in the state of Ohio. Please reach out to us with any concerns.

Herbal Energetics
We will discuss the energetics of the plant world! After a cute little tour of all the natural magic growing in our backyard, we will take a few moments to choose a plant to meditate with. We will be incorporating herbal energetics into our Ceremony for the evening!
Please bring a yoga mat, ground pillow, anything comfortable you might need.
Camp chairs in general are encouraged to bring!

7 - 8PM ~ Round Table
This space is used for us to gather and discuss the current astrology, do any writing exercises for ceremony, and discuss anything needed for ceremony time.
Chris will lead us in a short breathing exercise to get us all calm and grounded, and then I will go over the current astrology. We will explain the mask writing and burning ceremony, with our herbal offering of gratitude back to Spirit through the Fire. This month we are making extra special mention to give simply honor, reverence, and gratitude back to Creator for every blessing we receive.
8 - 9Pm ~ Ceremony Time
This will be our formal hour for ceremony...
We will be doing a mask burning ceremony, writing things on both sides of a papers mask. We will be incorporating herbs with our offering back to the Fire, as a group, and 1:1 moments at the fire with energy healing.
9 - 11PM ~ Food, Fire, & FUN

You can always count on Chris to open a Fire Circle! Fire Spinning will always be available at this event so long as weather permits.
Along with Fire Spinning, other various activities will be happening and in rotation, such as:
Drum & Song Circles
Ecstatic Dance
Karaoke
Additional time for Healing Services & 1:1 Hape
Ceremony Papers to write and burn if that wasn't the main focus during Ceremony Time.

Suggested Donation: $25-$50
This event is on a donation basis, meaning you will not be turned away if you are unable to make a monetary contribution and we hope to keep this event on a donation basis. That being said, this event costs money, and costs immense amounts of energy... We hope that you remain integral in your contribution to join our community celebration of Spirit. If you are unable to make a monetary donation, please bring extra items for the pot luck, or an offering of love to be shared with the group.

This event is in our home, and our home is sacred to us. For that reason, there is a cut off of 15 people, and every person, regardless if you come every month or are our best friends, you MUST register to participate. This helps us keep the headcount accurate for everyone's comfortability, and also helps us keep our home safe and sacred. When you register and have confirmed correspondence from Ashley, she will send you the address. Please do not share the address with others, show up without registering, or arrive during Ceremony Time (8-9PM).
