In this drum-birthing workshop provided by Ricky Vegas (Yaqui, Tucson, Az), you will learn about the powerful medicine of song and the importance of drumming in Indigenous culture.
You will be guided through the instruction of birthing your Drum. There are several options and customizations available, so please complete the Google Form sign-up to determine the materials and total cost for your drum. https://forms.gle/Ds7Nb9KtXyhmGmMn6
We will begin with a blessing and introduction to indigenous drumming, the class instruction will begin with individual guidance throughout, establish your intentions, and materialize your visions for your lacing pattern, handle, and wrap. You will also be completing your alder drumstick.
The total cost will be between the intended size and material. A $100 Deposit is needed to confirm your spot. The rest can be sent at the same time or collected in class.
Cost: $180- $210 plus any customization requests.
Space is limited to 8 participants.

Payment: Please submit a Deposit and or full payment for Materials, and Class at Venmo @RickyVegas Or CashApp: $RickyVegas3. You can start with just the $100 deposit, and complete the rest later. The option to Pay by Credit Card will be available on the class day plus 2.7% processing fee.
