This is not a class - it is open studio time for people with some experience in ceramics who want to use our pottery studio.

We’re thrilled to announce the soft opening of our new Ceramics Studio!

To celebrate, we’re offering experienced potters an exclusive Soft Opening Holiday Special on studio access time blocks.

✨ Soft Opening Offer:
Get 6 sessions of ceramics studio access, available across select Sundays, Fridays, and Tuesdays (see dates below).
You can attend any 6 sessions total on the listed dates and times.

📅 Note: Starting in 2026, studio access blocks will be offered in 4-week sessions (one day per week) for the same price. You are getting 6 sessions for the price of 4 as our welcome to you.

This is great for those with some experience who are looking for a space to work or any of our students who'd like additional practice time. We have the capacity for 7 people on wheels and 6 people practicing handbuilding. Please note, you're welcome to do both as long as there is space available.

$160 - Non-Members

ADDITIONAL CHARGES:

Glaze firing costs: 6 cents per cubic inch - glazes included. Bisque firing is included in clay costs. Please note, clay must be purchased from Makerspace NYC.

PREREQUISITES:

This is open to anyone 16 and up with some ceramics experience - this is required.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS:

This studio access block is limited to 13 people. You may cancel and get a refund up to seven days before your studio time starts. After that, refunds are case by case. Under no circumstances do we offer refunds to individuals who cancel on the same day. Please note, Eventbrite fees are non-refundable if you cancel.
