This is an introductory ceramics handbuilding course with no prior experience required! In this class you will learn foundational coil and slab building techniques in stoneware. We will apply these techniques to build a statement piece such as a vase or lidded vessel to decorate your home or office. This class is all about experimentation. So come ready to try new things and I will help you make your vision come to fruition! We will explore various textured surface treatments and underglazing techniques for finishing. I have expanded this next session to six weeks so we have extra time to complete our work. To register send the $50 material fee by January 10th and after that it is simply $35 a week.
