FEE: $45 + purchase clay $10 for 8lbs

Play with Clay takes place each month. It includes two afternoons - one for forming the clay and the second day for applying glaze onto them once their fired. Then they are fired a second time and are ready to be picked up.

Make whatever you'd like! Everything you need to make basic hand-built pieces is included, from start to finish. You'll have access to clay tools, drying shelves, underglazes, glazes, brushes, textures/stamps and two kiln firings.

Anyone who has basic experience in handbuilding can participate. You'll get the most out of it if you have experience forming pinch, coil and slab pieces and attaching two pieces of clay together so that they stay attached during the drying and firing stages.

The fee for a session is $45 + clay.

Clay is purchased separately in class and is $10 for 8lb of clay. (Please bring cash or check to class). You can purchase more clay at any time. We have both white and burnt red (a dark terracotta) for you to pick from. If you have left over clay, it will be saved for you to use the next time.
