3-week course - Total of 6 classes Tuesdays, January 3-17 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Ages 13+ ($80)Create your very own wind chime to keep of give as a gift! We'll use simple handbuilding techniques, learning about texture and various methods along the way. In our first class, we'll design and create our clay pieces. In the second class, we'll glaze our pieces, then assemble our wind chimes and add finishing touches in the last class. Photos show some examples of the types of chimes you can create. Professional artist and educator, Candy Canning, will be your guide. Some experience in ceramics is helpful, but not required. Open to beginning to advanced students, ages 13+.
All supplies are included. Please bring the following with you:
- Apron (recommended) or clothes that can get dirty
- Sketches or images of designs you might like to create
Optional:
- Layered clothing, as the temperatures are sometimes difficult to manage in our large building
- Water/beverage with lid
If a minimum of 2 participants is not reached, the class may be rescheduled, in which case we will notify you via email.
