Join us for a creative evening at Mayfield Street Studio.
Paint your own ceramic piece, make new friends and enjoy a wholesome night doing something a little different.

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly ceramic painting session with everything provided.

2-hour guided ceramic painting session
All materials included, with guidance from Mayfield Street Studio.

Private studio space just for us
A relaxed setting to chat, paint and get to know new people.

BYO food & drinks
Bring snacks, wine, beers or soft drinks.
Glassware & ice provided.

Created 1 day before so you can introduce yourself and organise getting there.

We’ll be there to welcome everyone and help with introductions so no one feels awkward.

Second catch-up event
Your piece will be glazed & fired and ready to collect a few weeks later, with a casual reunion drink.

6.00pm Arrive, mingle and settle in
6.30pm Ceramic painting begins - pick from a range of cups, bowls, plates & more. Dive into the colour bar and try your hand at painting, layering, and decorating your piece.
8.30pm Wrap-up. Leave your finished creation with the studio, they'll fire and clear-glaze it to bring the colours to life.

Your pieces will be glazed and ready for collection 3 weeks later at Westside Ale Works, South Melbourne.

Join us at 12pm for a mini catch-up — collect your piece, enjoy a complimentary pot of beer, wine or soft drink, then stick around for live music, shuffleboard, darts and more 🍻🌀 (if you can't make this, you will be able to pick up your piece from the studio)

The Details:

📍 Where: Mayfield Street Studio, Abbotsford

⏰ Arrival from 6pm – Painting starts 6:30pm

🎨 2-hour class on Monday 12th January

🍻 Piece pick-up + complimentary drink: Sunday 1st February at 12pm – then stay for darts, shuffleboard, live music & more!

🎟 Capacity: We are capping tickets at 30 girls - lots of new friends!

👯‍♀️ Who: Working Holiday Girls (ages 18–35)

T&C’s:

- Arrive between 6-6.30pm before the class starts

- No refunds however you can sell or transfer your ticket to someone else

- Photos will be taken at the event for promotion purposes. If you would not like to be in the pictures, please let one of the volunteers know in the evening.

-Social open to girls aged 18-35 on Working Holidays and other similar visas.
