Been There, Done That

Join us for our next networking event and hear from entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses from the ground up.

Hosted by Professor Rob Binns, Entrepreneur in Residence, this informal panel discussion will bring together experienced business owners to share their journeys, lessons learned and the challenges they've overcome along the way. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, gain practical insights and hear first-hand what it really takes to start, grow and sustain a successful business.

Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, an established business owner, or simply curious about the realities of entrepreneurship, you're sure to leave with fresh ideas and valuable takeaways.

Discover Our Podcast Studio

Did you know that the University has a state-of-the-art podcast studio available for small businesses to hire?

Podcasting is a powerful way to build trust and credibility by sharing your expertise, customer stories and industry insights in an authentic and engaging format. It also creates valuable content that can be repurposed across your website, social media channels and email marketing, helping you reach new audiences and strengthen your brand.

We'll be sharing more information about this facility during the event and inviting attendees to join an exclusive tour of the studio when networking concludes at 10.30am.

Your 60 Second Pitch

Centre members will also have the opportunity to deliver a 60 second pitch, giving you a chance to showcase your business to fellow members.

We do hope you are able to join us and 50+ SME Centre members, as we aim to pave the way for a brighter future for you and your business.
