About this Event

Fresno Area Law Enforcement Student eBike Rider Training

Join local law enforcement officers for a free, hands-on eBike rider training program for youth riders and their parents/guardians.

This isn't just a classroom safety presentation. Riders will receive practical instruction on their own eBikes, learning skills designed to improve control, braking, awareness, decision-making, and safe riding in real-world situations. The program also covers California eBike laws, rules of the road, and common safety issues law enforcement officers see involving young riders.

eBike and helmet required. A parent or guardian must attend with the rider.

Choose ONE 2.5-hour session:

Session 1: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Session 2: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Training includes both hands-on riding instruction and approximately 60 minutes of classroom instruction.

Led by Local Law Enforcement

This event is being held in conjunction with VoltVerified's California POST-certified eBike Instructor Course. Law enforcement officers from agencies throughout the Central Valley will put their instructor training into practice by working directly with local riders and families.

The goal is simple: give young riders practical skills, a better understanding of the law, and the confidence to make safer decisions when they're riding.
