Abstract: Learn how Nationwide has been able to shift from a strategy of reporting and later remediating Secure Config deviations in the cloud, to a strategy of automating the enforcement of desired state configuration of cloud resources. This effort resulted in eliminating high risk misconfigurations, and a significant reduction in medium risk misconfigurations. This session will dive into the alignment needed from Risk and Technology leaders to balance application security and availability, the use of cloud native services for enforcement, and the change management processes to ensure awareness.
