Central European Dinner (Slovakia on the plate)

Michal Buchta came from Slovakia to Ireland in 2005. In 2016 he became head chef at Momo. Our success is down to his passion, palate and hard work. This year we want to celebrate his homeland and the flavours he grew up with. Jurej ( Sous Chef) and Marek ( Chef) are also Slovakian. In this part of Europe where flavours and dishes overlap, often it is hard to establish where the dish came from. Was it from Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic or Germany? Let’s celebrate dishes from the homelands of the many people who call Ireland home now.
