Central Arkansas Prescribed Burn Association Annual Meeting

The Central Arkansas Prescribed Burn Association is a group of landowners that help each other use prescribed fire as a tool to manage their properties for healthy wildlife habitat by combining knowledge, manpower, and equipment.

Topics for this meeting include an overview of the association's mission, update on the previous year's accomplishments, and the path going forward. Our guest speaker will be Scott Stout, president of the Nebraska Fire Council and active member of the Loess Canyon Rangeland Alliance (LCRA). The LCRA is an organization of ranchers who have come together to burn over 90,000 acres. He will be speaking on how they've built such a successful program for getting prescribed fire on the ground on private lands.
