Centering Fathers Talking Sessions (4/15-5/20)

4/15/26: Brother you are; In the space of parenthood, fathers are sometimes underappreciated and/or unrecognized. Fathers will engage in a conversation around positive affirmations and confidence building.

4/29/26: Budgeting for success (PODCAST);This talking session will be based on learning about wealth, budgeting and nonmonetary wealth. Participants will start charting a course to financial knowledge.

5/6/26 : Ininiiwug;American Indian Family Center leaders will facilitate fathers in a talking circle. Talking circles are a traditional practice used by many for communication, healing, decision-making and community building. While each nation and community may have its own way of holding a talking circle, many have some common elements and values.

5/20/26: Child development ; Fathers will learn from nurses about pregnancy stages and how to actively support their partners. Nurse-guided session teaching fathers about pregnancy and practical ways to be involved.
