The head finds it’s center through the co-ordination of the spinal curves, shoulder girdle movement and tension of the myofascial systems.
Any restriction in this chain of events can influence the dynamic alignment of the head and shoulders, while making it harder to adopt postures without excessive tension and to weight bear through the hands effortlessly.
In this live in person workshop you’ll learn to:
• Dynamically align the shoulders on the ribcage for optimal suspension at the arms.
• Liberate the shoulder via simple techniques to mobile the shoulder blade.
• Understand the connection between the scapula, hyoid bone and mandible and how to balance this connection for more effortless upright posture.
• The pelvic-jaw connection. Mobilise the jaw with considerations to pelvic biomechanics.
• Sense the rhythm between the joints of the skull and sacrum and how to create a deep centered feeling at your spine.
• An introduction to dermoneuromodulation of the hand, arm, shoulder and neck. Understanding how to “release” tension at the upper limb through movement of the cutaneous nerves.
• How to assess and align the skull for effortless movement at the shoulders and spine.
