Center for Love: Mystical Book Talk + DIY Herbal Blending Workshop

If you enjoy exploring the mystical arts and conversations about healing, join us on December 13th with Author Starasia Wright for a discussion that outlines Black girls' mental health through the lens of her body of work, Space for Love. Written with the intention of speaking life into her trauma, Starasia explores Love through multiple aspects of her life — family, daughterhood, romantic relationships, herself, and God — even sharing a poetic journey through her time in a psych ward. As entertaining as it is riveting, Space for Love is a lyrical voyage in which Starasia seeks to remain open to love even amid chaos, through ancestral wisdom, art, and community.

Facilitated by Holistic Healer NicoleHeals, this conversation voyages into deep inner realms to pursue, define, and create a true Space For Love.

There will be an energy work sequence to Center in our own loving energy and recognize the true care and support we walk with, given to us by the Earth, our angels, ancestors, and Soul family.

This event also features an herbal workshop and a tea tasting with plant medicine inspired by the book's themes. Together, we will be able to pick out herbs that resonate with us and create a mixture that centers us in Love.

Then, we'll use herbs and essential oils to make incense during a guided workshop led by Khadija.
