Center for Ethics Hot Seat Speaker Series

Franchising is a particularly expensive and risky endeavor and dealing with the issues that come along is no easy task. Our guest speaker, Mr. Michael Hurwitz, will spend the evening navigating these ethical situations, discussing how he has maintained a reputation of integrity in his community over his 35-year restaurant franchise career.

Mr. Hurwitz is a restauranteur and franchisee of the well-known UNO Pizzeria & Grill that originated in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts he began his career in the restaurant business alongside his father and brother and has spent his entire life in hospitality and has worked every facet of the restaurant industry, priding himself on the outstanding reputation he has built.
