About this Event
From 2-4pm, the CDR will be hosting WIFT members at their main office in Madison for an afternoon of innovative fun. We will meet in the atrium area at the west-end entrance of Babcock Hall.
Established in 1986, The Center for Dairy Research (CDR), is a state-of-the-art dairy foods research center with a licensed, operating dairy pilot plant located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus in Babcock Hall. CDR is the largest dairy foods research center in the United States and becoming world-renowned. CDR works for Wisconsin and U.S. dairy farmers to advance the dairy industry through research and innovation, education and training and technical support and troubleshooting.
During your visit to CDR, you’ll learn more about how the Center is an asset to the dairy industry. Your visit will include a building tour including the Training Center, Sensory Booths, and Culinary Applications Lab. You will also have the opportunity to tour the inside of CDR's two-floor Pilot Plant.
