An Old-World Christmas Celebration of Tradition, Nature & the Returning Light
There is something special about Christmas on the Glen. The quiet beauty of winter, the fragrance of evergreens, the warmth of a crackling fire, and the traditions that have brought families and communities together for generations.
Join us for Celtic Christmas at Glen Innish Farm, a celebration inspired by our Scottish heritage, the traditions of the winter season, and the approaching Winter Solstice.
As the days grow shorter and the longest night of the year draws near, we invite you to slow down, gather together, and experience a little old-world Christmas magic on the farm.
Yule Log Making — A Tradition of Light & Warmth
One of the special activities of the day will be creating your own traditional Yule log using natural materials collected and foraged from the Glen.
Decorate your log with evergreens, cedar, lavender, and other seasonal treasures while learning about the tradition of the Yule log and its connection to the winter season.
We'll have a fire burning for those who wish to burn their Yule logs here on the farm, marking the turning of the year and welcoming the return of longer days. Or take yours home to become part of your family's Christmas or Winter Solstice traditions.
Christmas Shopping at the Farm Store
Step inside our cozy, reclaimed-barn Farm Store, filled with handcrafted lavender products, seasonal fragrances, botanical gifts, teas, candles, and thoughtfully chosen treasures.
Whether you're finishing your Christmas shopping or looking for something special, you'll find gifts inspired by the land and made with care.
Warm Up at The Snug
Stop by The Snug for a cup of coffee, a comforting tea, hot cocoa, or a seasonal beverage. Find a cozy spot, enjoy the company, and take in the slower pace of a winter afternoon on the farm.
Experience the Glen in Winter
Bundle up and enjoy the quiet beauty of the farm as it settles into winter. Wander the grounds, breathe in the crisp air, and discover the simple pleasures of the season.
A Christmas Rooted in Tradition
Celtic Christmas is about more than decorations and gifts. It's about the warmth of gathering, the beauty of the natural world, the traditions we carry forward, and the light that returns even after the longest night.
Bring your family, invite a friend, and spend a little time with us on the Glen.
We look forward to sharing a Celtic Christmas with you.
