Celine Dion Tribute

In this tribute show, you will hear all of Celine Dion’s greatest hits from The beginning of her career to new works released within the past few years. When Powerful Stories and Voices Connect, they create Beautiful Memories to last a lifetime.

Celine Dion was diagnosed with SPS (Stiff Person Syndrome), A rare neurological autoimmune disorder that causes muscle spasms and rigidity in the limbs and torso. It affects 1 in one million people. These muscle spasms affect the vocal cords, causing the inability to sing. As an admirer of Celine and her career, Celine’s journey and battle brought comfort when Malayna was battling with a vocal injury herself.
Although nowhere near as severe as Celine’s Condition, Malayna also suffered the inability to sing. In December of 2023, Malayna suffered a Vocal Fold Hemorrhage. This happens when one or more of the blood vessels in the vocal folds breaks open causing a traumatic hemorrhage to the voice.

During this injury, Malayna was unable to sing, or use her speaking voice. After 7 months of Speaking Voice Therapy, Singing Therapy and Vocal Coaching to help restrengthen and train her voice, she has been on the uprise. Growing up, performing Celine’s music, Malayna had found solace in many of her songs and knew this would be the perfect tribute.
