WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
• Approximately 1 in 100 people worldwide has celiac disease.
• Up to 80% may remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.
• Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune condition—not a food allergy, preference, or diet trend.
You may know someone struggling with unexplained symptoms without realizing celiac disease could be the cause. Greater awareness can lead to earlier testing, better support, safer food practices, and more inclusive communities.
During the program, Kimaya will combine her personal experience with accessible information about symptoms, misconceptions, testing, the gluten-free diet, support, and current research.
