Out of the bars, out of the closets, and into the streets! Solidarity with Palestine, Indigenous people, migrants and other oppressed communities.

Sydney's most notorious gay rabble-rousers are back again... and ready to party!

Our theme this year is 'Celebration Without Compromise' - a victory cry and rebellious declaration against the institutions, corporations and ruling class which have sought to silence the voices of queer and trans activists, as well as activists for racial, economic and social justice. We will fill Oxford Street with pride, fury, colour and (of course) our iconic giant trans flag. Pride was a riot, and we will never be quiet!

We will never back down, never compromise and never give up in our fight to be who we are, and to uplift our community. In a year in which xenophobia attempted to go mainstream, the Labor government instead turned its focus to shutting down activists and anti-genocide movements. This is on top of their ongoing use of queer people as a political football, which failing to uphold our rights and wellbeing as part of their policy. We fight to take control of our own lives and destinies through community power- the same community power which we celebrate at Mardi Gras.

No-one will be turned away for lack of funds- however, we are a volunteer and community-run float, so generous donations or paying for a Solidarity ticket is highly appreciated.
