The seminar for celebration of World City Day 2025, titled "Environmental Sustainability for Livable Cities: The Dhaka Context", explores the critical relationship between environmental sustainability and livability. It examines how ecological issues guide a city's various activities, set the research agenda, and drive innovative solutions across disciplines such as environmental science, economics, technology, and social sciences to make cities livable. The seminar highlights the importance of adopting a balanced approach to economic growth, social justice, and environmental conservation to ensure a livable city.
The objective of the seminar "Environmental Sustainability for Livable Cities: The Dhaka Context" is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange on how environmental sustainability can enhance urban livability. It aims to explore the interconnections between ecological challenges and urban development, emphasizing the need for integrated strategies that balance economic growth, social equity, and environmental stewardship. By bringing together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, the seminar seeks to promote innovative, evidence-based solutions and policy frameworks that contribute to creating a healthier, more resilient, and inclusive Dhaka city.

There is no charge applicable for submitting an abstract. Please do not miss this excellent opportunity to explore your research work.
Submission guidelines:
 A presenter can submit only one abstract through the designated email.
 Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
 The Full Paper must be submitted within the specified date.
 Presenters may also submit any research they have already published if they wish.
 In case of submitting something published, the published document should be mentioned, and the details should be provided along with the link to the publication.
 Presenters will be certified by the BIE for their presentation.
 A book will be published with the research selected from the seminar.
 Only 10 research papers will be selected for publication.
 3 research papers will be nominated for presentation.
 Recently published quality research papers will be accepted.
 All authors must be registered to participate in the seminar.
