All are invited to join us on Friday, October 18th at 10:00 a.m. for a Celebration of the Divine Liturgy in the Byzantine Rite. The Ruthenian Byzantine Church is one of the 23 Eastern Catholic Churches in communion with the pope and the Church of Rome. This Liturgy will be celebrated by Fr. Elias L Rafaj, pastor of St. Basil the Great Ruthenian Byzantine Church in Irving, TX. Pope St. John Paul referred to the Eastern and Western Churches as the “Two Lungs” of the Catholic Church.
