Celebrated songwriters gather for a night of original music and the stories behind the songs.
Wyatt Easterling first came to Nashville as a folk singer and signed with former CBS label head Rick Blackburn. As head of A&R at Atlantic Records, Wyatt signed some of country music’s biggest names. In time, he signed as a writer with DreamWorks Publishing, API and EMI where he had songs recorded by the likes of Dierks Bentley and Joe Diffie. He was twice a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk contest. www.wyatteasterling.com
John Gillespie is best known for the duo Nikki Meets the Hibachi, but he has also played with Two Fish Blue, Kickball, and The Drowning Lovers. He recorded three albums of solo material "Eternal Summer", "False Idols", and "Always Falling" with Greensboro producer/engineer Mike Garrigan. www.reverbnation.com/johngillespie
Kirk Ridge has had songs featured on NPR’s Car Talk and Belfast’s Celtic Roots Radio. His lyrics have been published in American Songwriter Magazine, and he was cited by the 2020 NCNPR Tiny Desk Special as a "festival superstar".
