Mami Monchita's will be hosting a Celebration of Life Memorial for Thao Mai, and a fundraiser for Mai Saigon, on Monday, 1/9/23 starting at 6:00 pm. Mai Saigon Restaurant has been closed for almost 2 months due to Mai's illness and has generated no revenue for the family. Mai's husband, TT, is planning to reopen in the next couple of weeks but needs help in order to do so. 20% of Mami Monchita's sales that day will be donated to Mai Saigon. We will also be accepting tax deductible donations that day through our non-profit foundation, Greenhouse of Love, if you would like to make a contribution while you are there. Please come and support this small business in our community on Monday the 9th and help us celebrate Mai's life with your presence and generosity! If you can't make it that day, stop by Mami Monchita's any time we're open and make your contribution.
TT is also looking for someone to work in the restaurant.
Hours will be 10:30 to 2:30 and 4:30 to 8:30 Monday - Saturday.
Duties will include running the dining area, taking to-go orders and cashing out customers.
