A celebration of the life, music, family, and friends of Darrell Broten.A suggested donation of $5 at the door, plus raffle baskets, 50/50s, and any personal donations go to Darrell's family to help with expenses.
Over literally DECADES, Darrell made a ton of friends in our local music community, and a whole bunch of us will be getting together to make sone noise in his honor, trade stories, and photos, and maybe some embarrassing videos.
Things kick off at noon, and will include performances from, but not limited to:
The Andy Ellefson Trio, Damaged Goods, Party Marty, Rough Rider, Adrienne Goebel, Planet Roxx, Mark Archambault, the Wild Flamepoints, Scott Thomas, MOTH, Slick and the Burnouts, Hack Bouzianne & Dale Robbins, and the rest of Gas Can Alley... and a bunch of special guests, and more.
I ask that ANYONE who knew Darrell, jammed with him, hung out- please attend, but also invite folks, share the event, etc.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute, still invite and share, but drop a line here, and we'll let you know how you can financially contribute remotely.

If you knew Darrell even slightly, you know that he wouldn't want a roomful of people crying, he'd want a crew to have some drinks, crack some jokes, and crank some tunes on his behalf. So, that is exactly what we'll do. Just... LOUDER.
