Join us on September 26, at 11:30 AM for a special in-person event at Busboys and Poets Restaurant, “Pearl Bailey Room,” located at 625 Monroe St. NE, Washington DC 20017.

We’re celebrating Mrs. Mattie B. Jones, who is 101 years young and the amazing founder of the Kohoutek Toastmasters Club. Originally chartered in January 1974, the club was proudly renamed in July 2026 to honor her legacy with the Kohoutek-Mattie B. Jones Toastmasters (K-MBJ_TM) Club.

As we approach our 52nd anniversary on January 1, 2027, we invite both Toastmasters and the public to join us in celebrating over 50 years of helping people become better speakers and leaders in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
