Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi and Mother Teresa Shelter are proud to host Celebration of Charity, a special evening dedicated to honoring six decades of service, compassion, and community impact. This year’s milestone celebration, themed “A Legacy of Light,” will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Omni Corpus Christi, 900 North Shoreline Blvd.
Join us for an inspiring evening of dinner, silent auction, and celebration as we honor a legacy of hope, generosity, and community spirit.
Rev. Larry Snyder, a nationally respected leader in Catholic charitable work and former president of Catholic Charities USA, will serve as the evening’s honorary speaker. Attendees will also be uplifted by a special musical performance and inspirational talk from Tony Melendez, an internationally acclaimed musician and motivational speaker who has inspired audiences worldwide.
The event will include a special presentation of the Legacy Medal of Honor award.
Tickets start at $150 per person, and the deadline to purchase tickets is September 18. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are also available, with all proceeds benefiting the life-changing programs and services of Catholic Charities and Mother Teresa Shelter, which serve vulnerable individuals and families across twelve counties in South Texas.
