We are so excited to celebrate Kate Westafer, Wildwood Elementary School educator (special education) at a dinner in her honor! Kate is the 12th recipient of the Roger L. Wallace Excellence in Teaching Award, which honors instructional staff at the Amherst and Pelham elementary schools (in Massachusetts).
This annual event offers us an opportunity to focus on teaching as an embodiment of and a path towards a more just community where all can thrive. We also have the opportunity to learn from Kate as she shares some of her journey.
