It's ceilidh time again! This time with a Scottish theme to mark St Andrew's Day.
Come and join us for some sober fun on the dancefloor with caller George Middleton and live music from the Hippo Ceilidh Band.
We'll say a little about the Gathering Gates and our fundraising goals. And we'll invoke the spirit of community held within these timeless, traditional dances. No experience needed, all ages welcome.
Tickets are on a gift basis - we're inviting folk to contribute between £10-£25 for a ticket to this event - all proceeds will go to The Gathering Gates. You're welcome to contribute more or indeed less if £10 is a stretch for you.
We invite you to bring a contribution of food for the break - some savoury party food for a buffet, or a delicious cake or dessert. Shop bought is fine, and we also welcome scrumptious homemade fare. We'll provide teas, coffees and soft drinks.
And if you'd like to big it up for St Andrew's night - we'd love to see a few Scottish kilts and highland dresses on the dancefloor! It's fine too to just come as you are. All is welcome.
