Celebrating Youth Leaders in Honor of National Make A Difference Day

Each year, The Hamilton Essentials Foundation honors youth and community leaders who dedicate their time, skills, and resources to advancing the protection and safety of children and youth facing mental health challenges in the United States and Guyana.

This annual event recognizes their commitment to positive change — a commitment that strengthens communities and inspires a wave of compassion-driven leadership across borders.

🌟 Honoring the Youth Leadership Board

At the heart of this celebration are the 2025 Youth Leadership Board Members (ages 8–18) — bold, visionary leaders who represent global youth leadership.

Throughout the year, these young Changemakers partner with like-minded organizations to advance a shared-mentorship leadership model, proving that age is no barrier to influence or impact.

💚 Youth Action Week: A Season of Service

This event also marks the culmination of Youth Action Week (Sept. 7–21 & Sept. 28–Oct. 12, 2025).

Over four weeks of service and advocacy, youth and community members engage in acts of kindness, leadership-building projects, and service experiences that reflect their commitment to making a difference locally and globally.

• Recognize the incredible contributions of the 2025 Youth Leadership Board
• Celebrate the families and communities who supported them
• Reflect on a transformative 10-month journey of mentorship, service, and advocacy
• Inspire continued commitment to community leadership and action

Open enrollment for the 2026 Youth Leadership Board begins Monday, October 27, 2025.

We invite families, educators, and community partners to join us in shaping the next generation of Changemakers. Our work is just beginning — and together, we can build a better world, one youth leader at a time.
