Celebrating Women in Engineering

UCL Departments of Biochemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, present a live in person event celebrating Women in Engineering Day

You are cordially invited to a lunchtime seminar on building ventures and breaking barriers at different career stages .
Expect ~ 20 minute presentations from our speakers looking at entrepreneurship in engineering, followed by a lively Q&A session and discussion followed by a networking session over lunch.

We have an interesting mix of excellent speakers on our panel . These are:

Dr Norah Magero: an innovator and renewable energy expert, getting vaccines to the last mile.

Dr Katherine Wang: is a start-up founder and a designer of wearable Med Tech devices to alleviate pain.

Caitlin Mellor: a PhD student in AI Applications for Drug Discovery and a digital content creator.
