The Awesome Story of WindstarThis year is the 45th anniversary of the Windstar Foundation and the 35th anniversary for the first Windstar’s Choices for the Future Symposiums. Windstar was very important to John and to many other people. Come learn about the history of the Windstar Foundation and its beautiful and spiritual land - from indigenous times of the Ute Indians, to a working farm and monastery, then owned by John Denver, and into the present. Experience some of the special comradery that developed and share significant events hosted by Windstar that were ahead of their time and still provide important information today.
Special Guest Speakers will be Tom and Cathy Crum, who were important parts of Windstar from its beginning. They will share their rich experiences and history with Windstar and its many special events.
Hosted by JP McDaniel and others who were involved with Windstar for several decades, this celebration will highlight stories, video clips, photos, and special moments from Windstar and the Choices Symposiums. The date and time for this event will be Friday, Oct. 8 from 3 - 4:30 pm at the Mountain Chalet, 5th floor. Tickets are $20 at the door.
