This class is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each Month. For girls & boys of all ages, both kids & adults!Celebrating the Months is a curriculum with literature-based activities for holidays and special days. After reading a brief background about each particular date, one or more related literature titles will be shared and discussed with the class. Then the children will engage in meaningful learning with correlating enrichment activities that integrate curriculum content areas: writing, social studies, science, math, P.E. and art.
Critical thinking skills are emphasized and many cooperative learning activities are included. Songs, games, recipes, patterns, readers theater scripts, multicultural experiences, and creative dramatics will inspire students to extend their imaginations and encourage them to read more!

CLASS COST:
$10.00 per participant ($20 per month, or $90 for semester)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 6TH, 2021 by 3PM!
