About this Event
Join us as we mark a decade of dedication, innovation, and energy at The Central Energy Facility! For the past 10 years, our plant has been a cornerstone of reliable, sustainable energy, fueling progress and brightening countless lives. The CEF is the heart of Stanford Energy System Innovations and houses multiple groundbreaking innovations and a multifaceted system that provides Stanford with sustainable, cost efficient, thermal energy. This new system, along with Stanford's procurement of 100% renewable electricity in 2022, led to an 80% reduction in direct greenhouse gas emissions. We are proud of the work we do to provide the Stanford community with safe, reliable, and efficient service. We’re thrilled to invite you to celebrate this important milestone!
Get insight into how the Central Energy Facility works through behind-the-scenes tours, enjoy refreshments and food, hear from key leaders who have shaped our journey, and discover our vision for sustainable energy in the next decade and beyond. Check out the event agenda above for details on event timing and key moments. Registration required to help plan for capacity, food and drink.
