Celebrating Our Six Year Anniversary in Seabreeze

Healthy Alternatives is a woman-owned business offering a variety of local artesian crafts and services and is celebrating their 6 years of business in Seabreeze Irondequoit. Carol Scheg-Morissette is the owner of Healthy Alternatives Wellness Center and specializes in holistic energy treatments for stress reduction to promote greater health and well-being. She also focuses on individuals with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, chemical sensitivity, depression, and anxiety. Meditation sound immersions and yoga are offered weekly. Carol offers a variety of energy therapy services for body, mind, and spirit to enhance her client’s wellness journey.

Healthy Alternatives opened February 1st 2020, right before the March 15th pandemic closure. The grand opening was pushed off into April, however since businesses were still under the pandemic closing guidelines Healthy Alternatives never had an official grand opening . Healthy Alternatives did survive and now a thriving alternative health business. They are in their 6th year and located in Irondequoit.

Carol Scheg-Morissette is a Reiki master teacher and Integrated Energy Therapy master instructor. All three levels of Integrated Energy Ttherapy and Reiki are offered. Some additional services that are offered are the ionic foot detox, salt room therapy, Integrated Energy Therapy, vibrational Reiki, sound healing, craniosacral therapy, sound baths, support groups, and wellness workshops. To support the community there is a small crystal gift shop in the front of the store and a large meditation room in the back. Other services include mental health counseling using CBT, EMDR, IFS, and ACT provided by Kaitlyn Hamilton.
