Join us for an evening to Celebrate Courage in JournalismEvery year, we honour the work of journalists from Canada and around the world who have contributed to the defense of free and independent media.
The Gala, led by journalist Carol Off, also raises funds for the CJFE Journalists in Distress Fund which provides desperately needed grants to international journalists, photographers and filmmakers facing threats to their lives and freedoms. Your contribution also supports our advocacy on free speech issues.
Our 24th annual gala will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Toronto on the evening of Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
