Celebrating Civics

Celebrate The Civic Circle’s 5th Anniversary and help empower young students to understand and participate in democracy!

We’re thrilled to welcome as our honored guest Paul Monteiro, Maryland’s first Secretary of Service and Civic Innovation. Secretary Monteiro was previously the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service Director, and served as the national director of AmeriCorps VISTA under President Barack Obama.

We’ll also enjoy civic songs with jazz vocalist Alison Crockett, great food and drink, and silent and live auctions with Maryland auctioneer Alexander Imirie. Get ready to bid on tickets to the musical “1776,” civic children’s books, classic LPs, restaurant outings, gourmet food and drink, and more.
