A tribute to the controversial black activist and leader of the struggle for black liberation. He hit bottom during his imprisonment in the ’50s, he became a Black Muslim and then a leader in the Nation of Islam. His assassination in 1965 left a legacy of self-determination and racial pride.
About the speakers:

She is a recipient of the National Communication Association Rex Crawley Service Award, YWCA Lancaster Women of Achievement, NAACP Lancaster Rita Smith Wade El Higher Education Award, and City & State Pennsylvania Annual Black Trailblazers Award.
She earned her Ph.D. from Howard University, her M.A. from Penn State University, Harrisburg and her B.A. from West Chester University of PA. She defines herself as a Believer. Scholar. Mommy, Wife. Sister. Friend Advocate – but before anything else she is Willie and Frances’ daughter.
