Celebrating 50 years of the ISIJ of Toronto - Masumeen Islamic Centre

We are delighted to extend our heartfelt invitation to you on the joyous occasion of the 50th anniversary celebration of our esteemed community, the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat (ISIJ) of Toronto and the 20th anniversary of the Masumeen Islamic Centre. This momentous occasion will be marked by a grand celebration on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Masumeen Islamic Centre located in the City of Brampton.

With nearly 7,000 members dispersed throughout the Greater Golden Horseshoe area, our community has gained renown for its philanthropy and unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of those around us. Join us as we commemorate our journey and explore how our progressive and socially responsible ethos serves as an exemplar for other faith-based organizations in Canada and beyond.

The festivities will commence officially at 12.00 p.m with an elegant indoor ceremony, but we invite you to arrive at 11:30 a.m. to relish some delicious appetizers and mingle with guests.

The program lineup is as follows:

11:30am: Guest Arrival

12:00pm-1:00pm: 20th Anniversary Ceremony

2:00pm-6:00pm: Outdoor/Indoor Carnival

With the noon ceremony, we will delve into the rich tapestry of our community's history and humble beginnings, while reflecting upon the many contributions we have made to society at large.

Following the ceremony, there will be various fun outdoor and indoor activities including a scavenger hunt, henna, and delicious food.
