Please join the Department of Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology on October 14 to celebrate 50 years of scientific research, tech innovation, and the education of new generations of computer scientists.
The program of events includes the inaugural Martha Evens Lecture, honoring computer science professor emerita Martha Evens, as well as a tribute to her contributions to the field and dedicated mentorship. The keynote speaker will be Ruzena Bajcsy, the NEC Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.
Date: Thursday, October 14
Events begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m., and concludes with a 4 p.m. reception. The celebration will include a panel of distinguished computer scientists, a 50th anniversary lecture, campus tours, and lunch.
