SAVE THE DATE!Come celebrate with us at the Sea Island School gym on May 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Sea Island Heritage Society is turning 25 and having a party to celebrate the occasion.
Walk back in time to life on Sea Island, or forward to the small community of Burkeville, originally built during WWII. Learn about the heritage of Sea Island and its different pioneer communities, say hi to old friends and make new ones.
Take a tour of the old Sea Island School, walk through our displays, and have your photo taken at our photo booth, amongst other things. Appetizers & a few other goodies will be served early afternoon.
We are working out the fine details and will post updates on our Facebook page on a regular basis.
Admission is $20.00 (cash or cheque) per person, to be collected at the door.
