Celebrate Valentine's Day. A Cooking Lesson for Two to Make Cassoulet.

About this Event
Although cassoulet proves to be a labor-intensive dish, it provides the ultimate in meals for entertaining -- almost all of the preparation is done in the time leading up to the big night so you can really spend some time with your guests, while casually stoking the fire or fetching cocktails. For me, it’s a tradition well worth the effort.
Starting a couple of weeks out, make certain you have your ducks in a row, so to speak, and know your sources for the meats in the dish.
e.terra Kitchen welcomes Annette Nielsen to lead this cooking class, in our private commercial kitchen space.
Join Annette for this "Chef's Table" experience.
Each ticket is for 2 people, a fun experience to celebrate Valentine's Day.
Annette will speak on the history of cassoulet, overall preparation . And everyone will then learn how to make duck confit and the steps to assembling the cassoulet.
Guests will wine & dine, enjoying the following menu together:
Three-vegetable terrine : (carrot, leek and spinach) w/ bread
Cheese Straws (from puff pastry)
Herb Roasted Pecans
Salad - Baguette
Poached Pears (poached in red wine)
Award Winning North Country Baklava (made with walnuts and maple syrup replacing pistachios/honey)
