Celebrate USA 250 with Dallas Banjo Band -FREE!

In celebration of USA 250, the Dallas Banjo Band will perform 7:30 pm, Thursday, July2, at the Allen Public Library, 300 N. Allen Dr. Sons of the American Revolution, donning colonial attire, will open the program with a presentation of colors. This will be followed by the National Anthem and a medley of patriotic music. The band will also play an assortment of jazz and big band favorites.
This 12-piece band has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Garland Symphony Orchestra and America’s Got Talent. Their arrangements appear on the soundtrack for the film, Lugosi: Hollywood’s Dracula.
The Daughters of the American Revolution will offer refreshments, and the Allen Quilters Guild will display vintage patriotic quilts.
